How often do I need my chimney swept?
Gas & Oil : Once a year.
Wood : Quarterly when in use.
House Coal : Twice a year.
Smokeless Fuels : Once a year.
Why do I need my chimney swept?
You need your chimney swept regularly to allow any poisonous gasses to pass through your chimney safely. Regular sweeping will remove soot, debris and any other blockages from your chimney. This should then dramatically decrease the risk of having a chimney fire and also increase the efficiency of your appliance.
Do I need to prepare for my sweep?
All we ask is please remove any objects which may be damaged whilst sweeping and clean out any remaining ash from the day before. You don’t need to cover any furniture as we have large dust sheets to cover the area we are working in.
Why do I need a sweeping certificate?
You will no doubt find that this is a requirement of your house insurance if the unthinkable was to ever happen.
Do you have a reminder service?
Yes we will get you booked into our diary for your next sweep but we will still remind you a month before just to verify the appointment details.
What methods of payment do you accept?
We accept Cash, Cheque, PayPal and Bank Transfer.
